"Every child deserves to learn in a safe, supportive environment. And it's our responsibility to ensure that."
Theresa Struck has been proud to call Ringwood home for nearly 20 years, raising four children here with her husband, John, who dedicated over 30 years to teaching and coaching. After a successful corporate career, she shifted into healthcare and later founded Struck Fitness, a business built on empowering people through movement and healthy choices. Through her business, she is happy to support various local organizations, from Ringwood Rec and Lakeland Sports Teams, the Ringwood Education Association, to Ringwood PBA, and many more! Theresa has also been instrumental in re-launching the Ringwood Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves on the Board.
Her decision to run for the Board was driven by a commitment to restore civility, professionalism, and common sense. She believes politics has no place in education and that the focus must remain on what matters most: children’s safety, academic excellence, and future opportunities. As a member of the Finance Committee, Theresa has seen firsthand the importance of balancing responsible budgeting with protecting the quality of education, ensuring taxpayer dollars are used wisely without compromising student success.
On the Board, Theresa continues to listen to parents, teachers, and administrators while keeping students at the center of every decision. She brings the perspective of a business owner and community leader who values collaboration, accountability, and strategic planning. Alongside her Achieve More slate, she is committed to financial responsibility, long-term sustainability, and academic excellence—because she believes Ringwood’s children and community deserve nothing less.
